Wow, today's there are a couple verses I want to post. They pertain to SIN and confessing our sins to GOD so that we may be made new! On a day to day basis I sin, just like you, but what I fail to do is confess those sins to GOD on a daily basis. I let them pile up in my heart, to the point where I know I have sin, but they all lump together, I have no clue what I am confessing to GOD. I just prayed a simple prayer. I want to confess my sins to GOD on a daily basis, I want to know where I need to improve and where I need GOD to help and strengthen me! I just asked GOD to wipe away the sin in my life, let me new in you and help me GOD on a daily basis to come to you for forgiveness. This is my prayer and VOW to improve on this and make confession part of my day to day. Here are the verses have a good one~
He who covers his sins will not prosper, But whoever confesses and forsakes
them will have mercy. Proverbs 28:13
"For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their lawless deeds I will remember no more." Hebrews 8:12
Thank you GOD!

Weigh-In Report!
Hi all, so I weighed in on Saturday and lost another 1.2 pounds. I know this sounds slow, but I want this to go slow. I want to KEEP this off. I am doing weight watcher and working out, but I am also allowing my self some "free" meals. I have always done better in the long run when I don't deprive myself ALL the time! So, now I am 6.5 pounds away from where I was before I got pregnant- Not too bad... If anyone has some helpful tips that help them when you are trying to lose, I would love to hear them : ) Send them my way.
Today's Verse
Do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own? For you were bought at a price; therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God's. 1 Corinthians 6:19-20
Reflect: We are not our own. We are God's were made to love, honor and obey God. This verse ties in with my other mission which is weight loss. By not having a healthy temple, I am not allowing God to use my temple for his good. I received this verse in a devotional I get daily and there was some wise advise in there I want to add to my reflect:
We are to stay away from those things which defile our
body and lead to unrighteousness. Things like additions to
drug's and alcohol, sex, or gambling, etc.
Now for example, while the Bible doe not teach total
abstinence from alcohol, it does speak against drunkenness.
For it is written;
Hear, my son, and be wise; And
guide your heart in the way. Do not mix with
winebibbers, Or with gluttonous eaters of meat;
For the drunkard and the glutton will come to
poverty, And drowsiness will clothe a man with
rags. ( Proverbs 23:19-21 ) For; Wine is a mocker,
strong drink is raging: and whosoever is
deceived thereby is not wise. ( Proverbs 20:1 )
When we love the Lord God with all our hearts, mind and soul, we should be giving him the best of all those. Thank you God for loving me so much and only wanting the very best for me. I vow to make my body, mind and spirit strong in you oh God! In Jesus name, Amen~

Today's Verse
What good is it for a man to gain the whole world, and yet lose or forfeit his very self?
( Luke 9:25 )
Reflect:
This is powerful! In the bible it talks about our lives being nothing more than a mist; they are gone before we know it. But our life in Heaven is eternal, forever. I know that seems to be hard to comprehend, but it's true. It's so easy for us to put God off while we are here and our main excuse always seems to be time; we don't have time, or we will do it later. But you see, he wants to be number one in our life, he wants us to put off other things because we don't have the time, but we have the time for him. He is who we need to make time for. All the "stuff" we think is important now will seem as worthless as dirt when we get to heaven, and we are going to say, "I wish I would have..." I do not want this for my life - it's scary to think of all the time I have already wasted! Toby Mac sings a song called " I don't want to gain the whole world and lose my soul" (that's a long title, I am sure it's shorter). But I DO NOT want that to sum me up in a sentence. That I cared more about what the world had for me than what God had for me. He is a jealous God, he wants all of us, not bits and pieces. I am going to close with this poem that was sent to me - it's so true!! Have a great day - I love you Lord!
I knelt to pray but not for long,
I had too much to do.
I had to hurry and get to work
For bills would soon be due.
So I knelt and said a hurried prayer,
And jumped up off my knees.
My Christian duty was now done
My soul could rest at ease.
All day long I had no time
To spread a word of cheer.
No time to speak of Christ to friends,
They'd laugh at me I'd fear.
No time, no time, too much to do,
That was my constant cry,
No time to give to souls in need
But at last the time, the time to die.
I went before the Lord,
I came, I stood with downcast eyes.
For in his hands God held a book;
It was the book of life.
God looked into his book and said
"Your name I cannot find.
I once was going to write it down...
But never found the time"
( Luke 9:25 )

First Verse Colossians 3:15
Today's verse talks about peace! I think that his is perfect for my new start.
Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful. ( Colossians 3:15 )
Reflect: There are several things that I pray to God about regarding peace. In fact when I pray now, one of the first things I ask for is God's peace. I know that God is driving and I am only the passenger, if I give it to him, fully, I will be at peace. And there has been times where I have physically felt that peace come over me. Thank you God for always, no matter what, being there for me, thank you for the life you have laid out for me, thank you for you peace over my life. As I move forward in my journey, I pray for your peace over me with my weight struggles. I know that if I partner with you all things are possible. Thank you for your grace, in Jesus name, Amen.

Starting out....
Hi, this is a start to a new me. I have started this blog for two reasons, to enhance and build a stronger relationship with the Lord and to be held accountable for my weight loss. I will be posting separate them so hopefully it won't be too confusing.
My plan is to take a verse each day and to dissect and relate that verse and what God is saying in my own life. I want to post testimonies here, and challenges that I need prayer on. I don't care if no one but God is following me on this journey - but this will help me in meeting with him everyday!
Second, I will be tracking with my weight loss. Recently I had a baby, in fact today he is 10 weeks old- ALREADY... wow, he is growing so quick I could cry. Anyway, I was heavy BEFORE I got pregnant, and I was trying to lose and was actually doing a blog and doing really well.... Then, I had to start in on all the fertility drugs, not only did I gain all 20 pounds I had lost in 2 months, but I gained even more. But the great news is it was all worth it, we got pregnant and had baby Cal. I gained over 60 pounds with him... so far since delivery, I have lost 51 of that. But I have a LONG way to go!! Three and half weeks ago Chris, my husband, and I started back on Weight Watchers. We are not actually going in to the meetings, we can't afford all that... but we have ALL the tools and are doing it at home. So far in 3 weeks, I have lost 10 pounds, I am very happy with that. It's coming off slow, but I know from past experiences, that slow is better for me, it stays off longer... I am having a really hard week tho so I am curious to see what the scale will say on Saturday. I have set a short term goal of 15 pounds by May 19th (that's when I go back to the Dr.'s and I want that scale to be below what I started at!! Only 9 pounds away from where I was before I got pregnant.
So if this sounds like something you may like to follow, please do! I love being held accountable and I will post pictures as I go.
